The Chauvin Arnoux CA1822 Dual-Channel Thermometer can measure air, surface and liquid temperature with a minimum temperature reading of -250˚C and a maximum temperature reading 1767˚C. Temperature range, resolution and accuracy depend on the kind of probe used and the thermometer is compatible with a range of thermocouples including type E, J, K, N, R, S, and T. Two connections allow simultaneous display of temperature at different points as well as displaying differential temperature. Please note that the thermometer comes without probes provided as standard.

A large backlit display can show readings from each attached thermocouple simultaneously and the thermometer has options for min/max recording. Data hold will keep readings frozen on screen and it is easy to switch between ˚C and ˚F. Operating the Chauvin Arnoux CA1822 is straightforward thanks to its one-button-one-function principle and the user can save 1 million values to the internal memory. Both spot and pre-programmed measurement are possible with the thermometer and user alarms can be adjusted according to requirements. In monitoring mode, any instance where the alarm is triggered will be saved to the internal memory.

The Chauvin Arnoux CA1822 is suitable for long-term measurement thanks to its long battery life. It will last for 1,000 hours in portable mode or three years in monitoring mode. The USB port and wireless Bluetooth interface allow data transfer to a PC or smart device. Free Data Logger Transfer software is available on the Chauvin Arnoux website and this will facilitate data download and report generation. The thermometer is IP54 rated and comes with a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
