Description
The DiLog DL9110 Multifunction Installation Tester has been designed to fulfil all the electrical installation testing requirements stipulated in the new 18th Edition regulations. These compulsory regulations come into effect on the 1st January 2019.
The DiLog DL9110 Multifunction Installation Tester is compliant with the safety and performance requirements detailed in the BS EN 61557 specification. To this end it includes the following testing capabilities:
- Continuity test
- Insulation tests at 250V and 500V
- Auto-start loop and continuity tests
- High-current loop test
- Loop impedance test
- Trip time RCD test
- Trip current RCD test
- RCD ramp test
- Auto-tests for RCDs
- 3-wire, non-trip loop test
- PFC and PSC fault current tests (L-PE/ L-N)
- Integrated socket polarity test
The DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester features a unique auto start RCD-LOC XLT loop test principle; this prevents the tripping all RCD types and RCBOs during testing whilst maintaining a high accuracy. Further to this, the DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester is capable of running the above RCD tests for the RCD types AC, A and S. When testing any of the aforementioned RCD types in the auto-test mode the test results can be recalled once all checks have been completed.
The prospective short circuit current, high-current loop, and continuity tests also all feature an auto-start. In addition to this, the DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester offers a direct readout of PSCC tests; a null feature for zeroing test lead resistance during continuity tests; and provides a high-current Ze measurement for high-current loop tests.
Measurements are indicated on the DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester’s colour changing, RGB LCD display. This multifunction tester features the largest screen of any multifunction installation tester designed for use in the UK. As well as indicating measurements, the display will change colour to alert the user of an error.
In addition to this, the DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester is supplied with a full calibration certificate. The user is also provided with a toolbox-style carry case ensuring ease-of-transportation and protection during transit.
The DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester is also equipped with a comfortable neck harness designed to facilitate easy operation.
With regards to the safety of this instrument, the DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester is equipped with full range protection that protects the tester, and by extension, the user, should the DL9110 be accidentally connected to a voltage during a dead test.
The DiLog DL9110 18th Edition Multifunction Installation Tester is a comprehensive, cost-effective and modern electrical testing instrument. It is ideal for extensively checking, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical installations in accordance with 18th Edition specifications.
