Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester Overview

The Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester is Fluke’s most comprehensive MFT suitable for testing the safety of electrical installations in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments, as well as verifying the correct installation of fixed wiring. It can perform the following tests:

  • Insulation resistance
  • Loop resistance
  • Line resistance
  • Earth resistance
  • Continuity
  • 10mA continuity for measuring motor windings
  • RCD variable current
  • Ramp test: measure RCD switching time and tripping level
  • RCD type A & AC trip times and currents (combined test)
  • Type B/B+ (smooth DC sensitive) RCD
  • Wiring polarity: detect broken N and PE wires
  • True-RMS AC/DC voltage: fast measurement between L-N, L-PE and N-PE using the mains cord (no need to change connections)
  • Prospective earth fault current (PEFC/IK)

Additionally, the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester includes several features designed to improve safety, efficiency, and accuracy, such as an Auto Test function, ring testing, High-current Loop mode, Pre-test function, Earth Volt Touchpad, and a Zero Adapter. You can easily select the required test or measurement function using the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester’s simple-to-use rotary dial.

Measurements are visible via the large, backlit display. Data can be saved to the Fluke 1664FC Multifunction Installation Tester’s three-layer memory and can be transferred wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet with the Fluke Connect App installed. Alternatively, results may be downloaded to a PC using Fluke’s Data Management Software.

Fluke T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester Overview

The Fluke T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester is a voltage and current meter with FieldSense technology capable of measuring and displaying true-RMS voltage and current simultaneously. It has the following measurement ranges:

  • Voltage: 1-1000V AC/DC
  • Current: 1-200A AC
  • Resistance: 1Ω-100kΩ
  • Frequency: 45-66Hz (via the open fork)

FieldSense technology enables non-contact AC voltage, current, and frequency measurements. Readings can be retained on the backlit display using the Hold function. The Fluke T6-1000 PRO Electrical Tester also features a Visual Continuity function for easily detecting continuity even in noisy environments: the display turns green when the continuity beeper sounds.
