Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT Tester

The Kewtech EZYPAT Plus PAT Tester can perform a range of useful PAT testing functions including load and run testing at 230V and 110V. It is the only battery-powered tester that offers load and run testing which is extremely useful for situations where a mains-powered tester would be impractical. Load and run testing constitutes an important method of testing handheld appliances and the tester is equally at home testing 230V domestic appliances as 110V power tools.

The continuity test function on the Kewtech EZYPAT Plus uses a 200mA test current (safe for IT) and can be extended to a five second test if needed. The insulation resistance test uses a 500V or 250V test voltage which allows testing on surge-protected extension leads. The tester is also capable of substitute leakage measurement and polarity checking on extension leads. A null function also cancels out the resistance of test leads for increased accuracy.

Results for all testing functions are clearly displayed on the Kewtech EZYPAT Plus’ backlit LCD screen alongside a PASS/FAIL indication. The screen glows green to indicate a PASS and red to indicate a FAIL so the overall result is immediately apparent. There are clearly labelled buttons that initiate automatic test sequences on Class I appliances, Class II appliances and extension leads.

The Kewtech EZYPAT Plus comes with an extension lead adaptor, test lead, test probe and crocodile clip in addition to a handy carry case. Its compact design makes it easy to transport and it meets all pertinent standards.
