Martindale PD440S Proving Unit

The Martindale PD440S Proving Unit is a useful instrument that allows the user to prove the performance of a two-pole voltage tester as part of a safe isolation procedure. It provides a constant 440V, 50Hz voltage level and all the user needs to do to operate the proving unit is introduce both poles to the appropriate probe terminals. The output will last for up to 10 seconds or less if the probe tips are removed beforehand.

The Martindale PD440S has an LED low battery indication and separate LED that indicates when output is being generated. The proving unit is covered by a two-year warranty and is powered by six 1.5V AA batteries that are supplied alongside an MG3 magnetic hanger.
